Antti-Juhani Kaijanaho is trying to get rid of maintaining certain packages and one of these is lib-gnu.regexp-java. I have already agreed with him and Lars Wirzenius to take over ispell-fi with Lars as my sponsor until my developer application goes through (Lars is also my advocate), but Lars is not comfortable sponsoring Java packages as he does not use Java.
