Quack, Two packages with the same name cannot coexist in the Debian repository because the earlier will always be installed. U should include a part a the branch name into ur package name, like : beaver02-0.2.7-1 beaver03-0.3.1-1 (like mozilla, mozilla-snapshot and mozilla-firebird) So people can choose to install beaver02 or beaver 03, which branch they prefer. One other thing, it seems rather difficult to find a sponsor these days, so i hope you will be luckier than some of us.
