Sun Cobalt Servers enable companies/web designers/small business customers
to get their web sites hosted quickly, easily, and affordably. All Raqshaq.com
Dedicated Cobalt Servers come standard with the following web services:
Apache Web Server
Email Server
FTP Server
Frontpage Extensions (Raq3/4 FP2000 only - Raq550 FP2002)
PHP - (Currently Version 4.06)
Chillisoft Active Server Page Extensions (ASP)

Q: Can I get a bigger hard drive in my server, or add more ram to it ?
A: YES! - all of our cobalt servers can be customized to your liking. Pricing
for
each of these upgrades can be configured directly on our order page. Please
look on our order page to find out what your configuration would cost.
Q: Can I add more Ram at a later date - (after my server has been installed ?)
A: Yes - you can add more Ram later - we would just increase your monthly fee
for
the cost of the new ram. Pricing for the ram upgrade can be found on our
order page.
Q: Can I install MySQL and Neomail ?
A: YES! - You can install any software you would like on your cobalt server, as
long as it
does not violate our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

We install and support a variety of additonal software services for our

NOTE: Raqshaq.com only supports software that we install. Please do not
ask for support on
software that was not installed by Raqshaq.com
Q: I see that you offer 8 IP addresses with your standard packages. Can I get
more IP Addresses
assigned to me, and if so what is the cost ?
A: Yes Raqshaq.com can assign you more IP Addresses. All you have to do is
justify the need
for more than 8 IP Addresses. Most customers only use 1 or 2 Static IP
Addresses. The cobalt
server makes it very easy to use virtual hosting/share 1 IP Address over
multiple sites. If you
host more than 6 sites that require HTTPS/SSL, we will be happy to issue you
more IP Addresses.
The costs are $2/ip/month and they are issued in blocks of 8.

and demonstrate the virtual hosting capabilites of the cobalt server.
Q: What about DNS ? - I am not very familiar with DNS, can I run my own DNS
Server, or will Raqshaq.com
handle my DNS ?
A: If you dont want to run your own DNS, Raqshaq.com will be happy to help. We
will handle all of
your dns setups for a 1 time fee of $5. (Each DNS Setup - 1 Time $5 charge -
for however long
you have the domain name registered with the Raqshaq.com DNS Servers)
If you are comfortable with DNS, The cobalt server makes it very easy to
setup DNS for your domains.

Colocation:
Q: Does Raqshaq.com offer colocation services ?
A: Yes, pricing starts at $79/month per rack unit. The $79/month charge
includes 8 Static IP Addresses,
FREE WEB BASED REBOOT!, and 50 Gigs of Transfer.
Q: What kind of support comes with the standard Raqshaq.com Colocation Service ?
A: Raqshaq.com only recomends colocation for customers who are comfortable
administering their own cobalt
server. Raqshaq.com will troubleshoot connection and power issues (power and
ping!) with your server.
Any other support for colocation customers can be pre-purchased in hourly
blocks, or paid when support
is requsted. Our hourly support charges start at $75/hour.
A: What happens if a hard drive/power supply or any other piece of hardware
fails on my colocated Raq ?
Q: Raqshaq.com keeps many spares on hand to help our colocation customers. We
have plenty of extra hard drives,
power supplys/fans ready to install at a moments notice. Our pricing is very
reasonable, hard drives
are usually between $75-$125 depending on the size, and if you need an
OS-Restore and all the latest cobalt
patches - $75 1 time charge!
Q: Can I colocate my other servers - other than cobalts ?
A: Raqshaq.com is a purely cobalt offering, Raqshaq.com only colocates Cobalt
Raq Servers. Our parent company
Alwaysonline.net handles all other colocation services, for information on
colocating servers other than

Q: If I colocate my Cobalt Raq at the RaqShaq do I have physical access to my
server.
A: No, For security reasons, the only people allowed to access the RaqShaq.com
Data Center are
RaqShaq/AlwaysOnline.net staff members.
Q: How do I order colocation from the RaqShaq?
A: PLease place your order at https://www.raqshaq.com/colo_config.html. Please
note however that if you are
planning to colocate a Raq XTR, you must order 2 RaqUnits for your server.
Q: Where do I send my server? How long until my server is setup?
A: RaqShaq installs servers on Mondays on Thursdays. Your server will be
installed on the following intall day
from the time it is received. To avoid delays please make sure of the
following:
1) Your Cobalt Raq's mounting brackets and power cord are shipped with
your server.
2) Your server is 100% operational, with drives, power supply, and fans
all in proper working order.
3) Please make sure that your server's patches are up to date and the
operating system is in proper working order.
4) Please set the server's username and password.
Once your server is ready to ship, please write your order number on the top
of the box that you are shipping it in.
