Cool idea! I recently installed Oracle 10g on a couple of machines and it was *hell*. :/
I am willing to test this package. Though I think many more Debian users would be probably wanting the client more than the server... I was pondering on packaging the Oracle 10g Instant Client (NONFREE & BINARY).
