Hi list, I recently filed an ITP against WNPP regarding zenoss (Bug #361253).
This is something I would really like to see in Debian, because it makes use of and integrates many existing open source packages, like Zope, MySQL, RRDtool, Net-SNMP, to name a few. However, this is my first package ever, so I'm a complete newbie in Debian packaging, so help with this would be really appreciated. Maybe someone of the Zope Crew, because I don't want to interfere too much with other packages which need that (like Plone et al)? May I even cross-post to the pkg-zope-developers list in that case (I'm not in that list (yet), so if I'm doing something wrong here, please CC me)? Or is anyone even interested in co-maintaining this one? The original .tar.gz can be found at: http://www.zenoss.org/download/index.html (Version is 0.19.4 as of this writing; Upstream seems to be quite active & supportive as well). Looking forward to hearing from all those Python & Zope specialists out there, cheers, wjl aka Wolfgang Lonien -- Key ID 0x728D9BD0 - public key available at wwwkeys.de.pgp.net Key Fingerprint = A923 2294 B7ED EB3E 2F18 AE56 AAB8 D36A 728D 9BD0 uid Wolfgang Lonien (wjl) <like: [EMAIL PROTECTED]> We prefer encrypted, text-only email messages here.
