Comments on the package: debian/copyright... - should contain the years of copyright like "Copyright (C) 2002-2006 John Doe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" - should contain more than just the path to the GPL. See other Debian packages for examples. Otherwise the package looks good to me.
