I, of course, plan on getting it compiled to more architectures and would like to have some of the "purified patches" sent upstream. We can do that together, what do you think? That entire "missing.h" thing smells like a last-minute hack and the makefiles provided aren't good, unfortunately. For instance, they don't honour variables like "noopt" etc. I don't know if the msdos utilities already present in Debian are supported upstream (I will have to check), but having them from Darwin, which is being improved with new versions of MacOS X seems to be a good thing.
