Hi, I followed this step by step: 1) quilt new patchname 2) quilt add my_makefile 3) edit my makefile (btw. gedit) and save it 4) quilt refresh Build process is going well, but my makefile is edited and original like makefile is "stored" in debian/patches/makefile.patch.
