Hi Jeffrey, sorry for leaving you without answer for a few days: there was a conjunction between lots of work, holidays and mailbox tsunami. Unfortunately, the mail that I took so much time to write was to tell that iulib is not yet ready for upload: some packages seem to be unneeded in the build dependancies: Build-Depends: debhelper (>= 7.0.8), autotools-dev, quilt (>= 0.46-7), automake1.9, libtool (>= 2), libpng12-dev, libjp eg62-dev, libtiff4-dev, libavcodec-dev, libavformat-dev, libsdl-gfx1.2-dev, libsdl-image1.2-dev Now let's look at what remains after building the binary library package: Depends: libc6 (>= 2.2.5), libgcc1 (>= 1:4.1.1), libjpeg62, libpng12-0 (>= 1.2.13-4), libsdl-gfx1.2-4, libsdl1.2debian (>= 1.2.10-1), libstdc++6 (>= 4.1.1), libtiff4, zlib1g (>= 1:1.1.4) This made me unsure that libavcodec-dev and libavformat-dev are necessary. Indeed, after removing them, the package could still be build in a cowbuilder. Also, can you correct your build target so that it can be restarted if it has been interrupted? I know it does not happen in the buildds, but it makes the task of people working on the package easier.
