Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.2 3. no necessary quilt as build-dependency[0] 4. under debian/copyright specify license version, LGPL-3 (i.e) 5. for your patch, use DEP-3 format [1] cleaning "#'s" 6. clean the coments from debian/rules, uhm... seems it could be just (please try it): dh $@
