This package was already part of Debian, but got removed in bug #620497.
As I am the maintainer of nzbget (http://packages.qa.debian.org/nzbget),
which can use the libpar2 library for automatic detection of
broken/incomplete files, I want to re-introduce this package to Debian.
I looked through the code and have done some cleanup-work and applied
some patches that were posted in the sourceforge tracker. I am aware
that I will be the de-facto upstream for the Debian-Users of this package.
