I'm actually upstream here too and I my intent is to remain fully DFSG-compatible: this is a request, not a requirement. We don't intend this sentence to be legally binding. We won't sue anybody for not complying with this request, it's just that it's fair to do so. "Request" here is the same word as used two lines above when we request a citation if a paper is published based on Gyoto computations. If this wording is not sufficiently clear, can you propose a clearer one? I'm CC:-ing -legal to get other opinions.
