I'm not intended to support this package :-),
but here are some issues I see:

1. Version in configure.in is 2.3.0, so debian package it should be
2.3.0~svn544 or 2.2.0+svn544 (make sure if 2.3 is ongoing release)

2. hello http://www.example.com :-)
