Hi, thanks again for the review, I dealt with all the issues you mentioned. Since I am not a native speaker, it may well be that I chose weird or uncommon formulations (especially in the man page and the description, but since I am also upstream this extends to the HTML manual). Any feedback is welcome :)
According to mentors.d.n, the package now has two lintian warnings - those are triggered by new lintian checks which attempt to verify if hardening flags were used. However, my package uses them, so both warnings are actually false positives. I did not add overrides as there still seems to be some discussion on whether these are kept at all - see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=673112 .
