Hi Vedran, I suggest to remove logkeys 0.1.1a+svn20120529-1 (2012-06-27 22:32) from mentors. It is no solution for bug 679182. It also does not help to get the bugs in wheezy fixed.
I suggest to start from logkeys 0.1.0-1, add the fix from Helmut Grohne (13 Dec 2011) for bug 624991, add a fix for bug 655564 if you have found one, and use version 1:0.1.0-2 and target "unstable" in debian/changelog. The changes between 0.1.0-1 and 1:0.1.0-2 will probably be OK for an unblock. This package will also fix bug 679182 in unstable.
