I want to adopt the package dnprogs [1].
Now I have a prob with the version-number.
On the svn-Repo[2] the latest version is 2.62.
In unstable and testing the version is 2.63 with the changelog:

Mixing Debian maintainer and upstream roles is a recipe for troubles
like this. :-(
The tarball of the version 2.63 contains older files as in the repo.
What can I do?
Ask upstream to update the repo. Then switch to the non-native source
package format.
