Do you have a Debian package ready? Anyway, I hacked one together, but it is not ready for upload due to the embedded copy of libz. I have a patch that removes and tries to dynamically link it (in debian/patches), but that does not work - no idea why. If someone wants to send patches, happy! for amd64: deb http://www.preining.info/debian/ arasan/ deb-src http://www.preining.info/debian/ arasan/ or get source: dget http://www.preining.info/debian/arasan/arasan_17.4.0-0.1.dsc or only the binary: wget http://www.preining.info/debian/arasan/arasan_17.4.0-0.1_amd64.deb Tried it with xboard, worked, but the binary is running 100% CPU time even when it is my turn ... not good. Other engines sleep while it is my turn. THe installer tries to do some chmod u+s which I don't allow. Probably for editing/adding some learned stuff (what I read from the docs), but that is not an option. If someone else wants to help/contribute, I push the current status to a git repo for collaboration.
