just FTR, I plan (and working towards) to adopt pbuilder, which is unmaintained
since some time.
I incorporated this particular change in my git clone, but another upload (NMU)
is already in deferred and will lend in 6 days in unstable.
I scheduled my upload as a maintainer with this somewhere mid/late july.
If that bugs you too much and you're willing to do un upload before please get
in touch with me and NMU pbuilder after the pending upload hits unstable.
(btw it's not needed "a local build", `vim /usr/bin/pdebuild` is enough :P)
