Dpkg is the first thing to get. Either compile the sources yourself or get the deb from either: ftp://ftp.rfc822.org/pub/local/debian/debian/dists/potato/ or http://honk.physik.uni-konstanz.de/~agx/mipslinux/debian/ Use ar & tar to unpack the dpkg deb and install the files into the proper places. Then you can install more debs from the above sites. Your indy uses big endian byte order, so you're mips not mipsel. Regards, -- Guido
