I've compiled my kernel from cvs (using the 2_4_4 tag, but i tired two other versions as well) for a diskless machine. xfree86 runs fine on the machine (that's what i want to use it for) but "tar" and "ls" segfault (among others)
I believe i have compiled the kernel without ext2 support which might cause this problems, has someone experienced this problem as well? Greetings, Erich
