Well... This is a matter of personal preference. I prefer a 100MHz, 64MB
some years old Indy over an up-to-date desktop machine with > 1G5Hz and
more than 256MB of RAM. I don't like PCs, so I work on other
architectures (even if I can only afford outdated models because current
machines are so damn expensive). And why not using an Indy on desktop?
20" monitor and enough computation power to really _work_ on it (-> vim
and TeX is running, and even some nice web browsers like dillo or
links).
