A few messages ago someone posted an iso made with th tftpboot.img on
your site. I simply used that =)
It was burned in dao mode. Is it correct?
I didn't want to try nfs-root but make it self hosting as glaurung's
kernels (http://www.linux-mips.org/~glaurung/) seems to have scsi
support in it; I need to investigate on how to create a cdrom with that
kernels.
thanks

Anyway, I made a cdrom with the image and tried to boot that on the O2.
I simply got an "efs read error" at the prom prompt, without reaching
the "entry point at [...]" I was hoping for.
How did you create the CD?
Shouldn't it reach at least the entry point and then crash at boot?
Being unable to load it from cd seems an image problem and not a kernel
problem lacking support for the O2...
I'd recommend using a nfs-root on another server. This also eases
debugging.
