Hm... I tried another harddisk. I got the same kind of errors.
But the harddisks worked in other machines?!
Any ohter Ideas?

Sri, when this question was asked many times before, but I googled
myself quiet nuts on this.
External Connector on an Indy should work fine. I know the Narrow
connector on my Challenge S (Which is basicly an Indy) works, and that
should be on the same bus as the internal connector.
