Hi We have a big amount of old SGI Indy workstations running Woody. R4600 CPU, 1GB HDD, 16-128MB RAM and so on. (Now 6 Indy, later there will be 10 or 12 Indy + 1 Indigo2). All they were used for educational purposes in Belarussian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR) in laboratory of *nix-systems . Their usage isn't intensive at all. 20 hours per day the workstations are idle..
Some questions: 1) how much space is needed for full (binary + source) Debian Testing Mips-arch mirror? How many rsync traffic is in mips testing daily? 2) Can we build packages for testing? (as far as I can see there is a serious problem in Debian Project) 3) If the answer to question 2 is positive, what do I need to do to became a package builder? Details: We didn't have a direct internet IP, because the university local network is deep behind the firewall (NAT). So i can't make a public server. PS: one Debian Developers gave me this bright idea :) -- Vladimir 'mend0za' Shahov, icq 78193930
