Network speed on Cobalt RaQ's

Hey everyone!

Just wondering if there's any way of improving the network speed on the 
Cobalt RaQ's? Its going at about 2000kb/s on my RaQ2's but I'd like some 
more speed when transferring big (100+mb) files.

Is it possible or is it a lost cause? :) Also, does anyone know what is the 
cause?
