You need a DHCP server but you can get away without a NFS server:
simply put the disk into another machine or an USB enclosure and put
the kernel image on the /dev/[hs]da1 partition.
And then instead of

192.168.1.69 is obviously an example which you have to substitute with
the real IP address of your Qube.
Just to make this procedure dummy safe. (I used 192.168.1.2 once
and 192.168.1.69 the other time and wondered why I couldn't see
anything... ;-)
