Hi,

I was able to mount the CD right after booting, without loading
any modules.

Jupp, this got me going. Just to run into the next problem: right after
writing the base install onto the disk, it complains about not finding
a suitable kernel image to install. Well, I installed the obvious choice
(boot/vmlinux-r3k-kn02) by hand from the CD and went on to "delo install".
Instead of just following it's masters orders, the installer choose to
redo the base-install. Is that supposed to happen?

Then, the reinstall of the base system failed with an error 3 and the
installer complained that the delo install went wrong. Not really
what I expected. I think I'll go back to woody and try to update from
there.

Thanks for all the help anyway,
Uli
