There are two bug reports. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=115767 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=155467 The initial report is on mips but Andy saw it more recently (prerelease etch, March 2006) on x86 xen. He was able to provide a strace but I don't have a clue what to make of it. If people who used to see it with the same configuration no longer do, we can close it until such a time as it's reproduced, hopefully with copious debugging info for everyone to stare it.
