I am using arcboot. The relevant lines in /etc/arcboot.conf are:

label=single
  image=/boot/vmlinux-2.6.18-4-r5k-ip32
  append="root=/dev/sda1 ro [EMAIL PROTECTED]"

label=linux32
  image=/boot/vmlinux-2.6.22.4-1gs-r5k-ip32-32bit
  append="root=/dev/sda1 ro [EMAIL PROTECTED]"

Bye,
Giuseppe
