It also needs the clockevents/timekeeping code for the IP27 platform
to be unborked, which, AFAIK, hasn't happened since the last time I
tried to build a linux-mips git kernel for that noisy beast.

Good luck to anyone who'd be willing to try to fix that; there's a
nice chicken-and-egg issue in here that's not trivial to fix. If you
get that working, I'd be pleased to have that O200 running :)
