Hi, I purchased a Lemote YeeLoong 8089 mips based notebook to put it in the GCC Compile Farm: http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/CompileFarm
It comes with lenny/sid and repository: deb http://www.lemote.com/debian-testing testing main contrib non-free However from France access is unreliable and extremely slow (apt-get install on one package sometimes takes about a day). Do you have some advice on how to switch to a saner repository on this machine without breaking everything (the boot and kernel stuff seem to be done by hand and not via dpkg)?
