Hello,

After upgrading debian from squeeze to wheezy on a lemote yeeloong laptop
(linux-image-3.0.0-1-loongson-2f), emacs23 configuration fails with the
following two error messages from dpkg --configure:

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily
unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), is another
process using it?

and

emacs-install: /usr/lib/emacsen-common/packages/install/dictionaries-common
emacs23 failed at /usr/lib/emacsen-common/emacs-install line 28, <TSORT> line 2.
dpkg: error processing emacs23 (--configure):
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 100

What do I need to do to install emacs?

thanks,
Paul
