For what it's worth and I'm not sure it's worth much... I'm working on bringing
my geeksphone keon up as a debian CLI phone. I'm just getting started
understanding the projects that exist already but currently am just trying to
hack something together that's "usable".

So far I have a console at boot up, debian mixed in (not chroot) and am nearly
complete with a gesture recognition utility (I dislike on screen keyboards) for
typing.

https://github.com/craigcomstock/shelli (there's a screenshot there of what
I've got going so far) no code... practically vapor ware :(

Cheers,
Craig

Getting something newer on current hardware would be nice :)

Cheers,
gregor, cc'ing 2 Debian lists in case there's someone left there :)
