What are exactly the consequences of this bug? How badly does it affect the usability of the program?
If jackd is running when audacity starts, audacity immediately crashes. If jackd is started after audacity, and audacity tries to record or play audio to a JACK stream, audacity crashes. If audacity is used against ALSA sources / sinks, everything works fine. Note that I have only tested on i386 (no bug) and amd64 (bug). I don't know either that powerpc really works or that other architectures dont. Testing was done on sid around the beginning of the month. I don't think the new jack fixes it, but I haven't retested. -- Emmet -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
