Just launch blender and start working. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Open blender. Press tab at the default scene with the cube. Then press Shift + Spacebar, then M. Click and drag to start measuring while pressing the control key. (Any control key will do). * What was the outcome of this action? The measure line did not snap to edges nor verticies. * What outcome did you expect instead? On the second comment on the forum thread you pointed to there's a clear advice on what's supposed to be used to snap to vertex, that is simply pressing Ctrl button *after* started moving the measure end point. In fact, this is not a Debian package issue but a desired behaviour in Blender code. Thus, closing. Cheers. -- Matteo F. Vescovi || Debian Developer GnuPG KeyID: 4096R/0x8062398983B2CF7A
