Package: libavformat58 Version: 7:4.3.1-4 Severity: wishlist Hi there,
is there any reason why we don't yet provide an additional libavformat-extra package which could contain support for the SMB protocol? We already do so for libavcodec-extra and libavfilter-extra, so I don't see any reason why we shouldn't add another -extra flavor to provide for a popular feature. The next possible opportunity could be the next SONAME bump in one of the libraries when we have to go through the NEW queue anyway. Thoughts?
