wow, this was from a decade ago!  i actually use an old maschine mk1 for
finger-drumming...
had to install debian stable, with the realtime kernel + jack and hydrogen
to test this.
but could not trigger that issue, actually seems to be fixed in (debian
stable) hydrogen* stable:* 0.9.7-6  https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/hydrogen
<https://packages.debian.org/source/stable/hydrogen>
