OK, making it a wishlist on Debian, as apparently upstream has no
tracker to register it with...

i'm closing this in the Debian bug tracker.
there's an open issue at the upstream bugtracker [1],
but given how hard it is to actually get a .ACT file, i guess the
chances are very low that anybody is going to tackle this.
i also think, that most people who had a use for this 14 years ago, have
moved on to other recorders an no longer need this feature.
