Package: sox
Version: 14.7.0.4+ds1-2
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: [email protected]

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

Upgrading to the latest version of sox (mostly) breaks the ability to play FLAC
files, and likely breaks encoding to FLAC.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

$ play bowling\ alley\ at\ claymation\ museum.flac
play FAIL formats: no handler for detected file type `flac'

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

File plays as it did in previous versions without having to manually specify -t
sndfile or -t ffmpeg.
