Philosophy & Procedures

Richard has worked for Helix Code and helps maintain a group of Debian
machines as a part time sysadmin. He's found Debian a breath of fresh
air since starting to use it: free software with *written* standards
that are followed. He understands the Social Contract and DFSG, is aware
of the infrastructure support the non-free software is given by Debian
while not being part of it and know how to talk to the BTS in regard to
ITPs, closing bugs and leaving Debian.
Tasks & Skills

Richard has packaged nawm ("Not A Window Manager"), which was clean
without any need for input from me. He's also working on a package for
vt.
Recommendation

I recommend that Richard be accepted as a Debian maintainer.
