Philosophy & Procedures ----------------------- Karsten understands Debian's philosophy and agrees with it. Tasks & Skills -------------- Karsten contributes to boot-floppies and builds the mipsel kernel-images. He has broadened gpm's hardware support and deals with other platform-related problems. He appears to be quite knowledgeable about porting problems in general as well as specific to MIPS platforms. Outside of Debian, he has contributed driver code to the Linux kernel and fixed some problems with leafnode's rpm-building. Recommendation -------------- I recommend that Karsten be accepted as a Debian maintainer.
