I'm a GNU/Linux user since ~1999 and came in contact with Debian around
2002. I actually maintain two packages on Debian: mp3roaster (which I'm
also the upstream-author of) and libaudio-flac-header.
I'm furthermore a core member of the mentors.debian.net project along
with Cristoph Haas (a DD) and founded (I'm the channel-owner) the
#debian-mentors channel on the FreeNode IRC network which has gained
quite much success in the last two years.
I spend many free time with free software and the free software
community and most of this time is dedicated to Debian specific tasks.
Due to this I would like to focus, as good as possible, all my free
software related work on Debian -- The DD status may help me on that.
I'm currently studying information science in Rome, Universita' "La
Sapienza" in my third academic year. Beside studying I also work as a
system and network administrator for a medium-sized company where I
maintain four Debian GNU/Linux based critical servers located in Italy
and Germany.
2. Philosophy and Procedures

Ivo has an adequate understanding of Debian's philosophy and
procedures. He provided acceptable answers to all my questions about
the Social Contract, DFSG, and other Debianisms.
