I've known him well from when he packaged cups-pdf as his first package, and identified him at [EMAIL PROTECTED] He is maintaining many packages on Debian at this moment; cups-pdf, ispell-et, mkelfimage, myspell-lv, numlockx, uspp, utf8-migration-tool, and xserver-xorg-video-amd. (http://qa.debian.org/[EMAIL PROTECTED]) AFAIK he've already contributed to Ubuntu for a long also. Martin Pitt, Masayuki Hatta and I have already sponsored his upload. It would be nice if he can upload his package by himself. As one of CUPS team members, he dedicated his time to see a bunch of bug reports and replied/summarized/closed many. I believe his knowledge about packaging is well enough as Debian maintainer, and he always displays great enthusiasm to contribute to Debian.
