Er, well, I disagree with him too (fairly strongly), but as long as he's
willing to follow Debian's policies as a DD even if he thinks they're
daft, I don't think that should count against him becoming a DD.  This is
a technical disagreement about security vs. usability tradeoffs, not a
fundamental philosophical difference over, say, the DFSG or the Social
Contract.
