I am hereby requesting to be added to the DM keyring. I have read and thereby agree to the Social Contract, DFSG and DMUP. I have been maintaining Debian packages since 2003, where I have often been praised for the high quality of my packaging (especially for the clean repackaging of packages I have adopted) and for my proactive interactions with upstream authors. In addition, I am an active member of the CUPS package team. Martin Pitt, Masayuki Hatta and Kenshi Muto are some of my regular sponsors, who can comment on the above and, possibly, advocate my addition to the DM keyring. I have previously attempted NM and due to disagreements with some DD (with whom, in many cases, I have been interacting in positive ways on a regular basis, since then) have never completed it. Anyhow, NM feels like overkill for me, since I don't have the ambition of ever becoming a DD. Instead, DM would be sufficient to allow me to maintain my own packages in my spare time without requiring a sponsor.
