I believe that Olivier Berger has the technical skills needed to maintain Debian packages. I support his application to become a Debian maintainer, because I sponsored his twiki-ldapcontrib package. He was able to use diversion and made a lintian clean package with just a missing dependency he corrected quickly. I have no doubt he will succeed in Philosophy and Procedures, knowing his commitment to FOSS. He showed a continuous involvement in a FOSS project we are working on for animation and meeting organization.
