When he has done his first package, he did it very well. I have spoken a lot with Frédéric about debian packaging issues and even learn things from him when I was in NM. For my part, I think having a DM access to push him ahead is a good thing and I believe that he will do a great job. Maybe we could have Matthew Johnson opinion about the package he recently sponsored for Frédéric.
