Hello, Julien is already a Debian Maintainer for the past 3 years. In these years he worked on packaging software for example: ajaxterm and mailgraph. I worked with him in the dspam packaging team and he showed his qualities on packaging such delicate piece of software. Julien is also part of the French i10n team. When bugs are reported against the packages then Julien is fast with answering or asking for feedback. He also communicates with upstream when problems are found and if he can he will supply patches for bugs. So generally, I recommend him to become a Debian Developer.
