I wholeheartedly support Pau's application. ACE+TAO packages were lagging behind upstream because of a lack of time. Pau stepped in to help in October, 2009[1]. Despite the complexity of the task (62 packages), he helped filling the gap and bringing ACE+TAO packages back on tracks with upstream within two uploads. I do believe his enthusiasm also helped attracting new people to the team. His interaction with upstream[3] helped reaching current situation where Johnny Willemsen, a very active upstream author, is involved in the packaging effort[4] as a proxy, fast-tracking Debian changes into upstream's repo[5]. His sound, not too Debian-centric, opinion[2], the quality of his packaging, and his will to get things going would be a very valuable addition to Debian.
