I believe that Petr Baranov[1] has the technical skills needed to maintain Debian packages. I support his application to become a Debian maintainer, because his attitude to social and technical issues totally demonstrates that he deeply shares the Free Software philosophy, his energy can benefit the project, and at the second hand working closely for the project can provide valuable improvements to his skills and understanding.
